Linda Armstrong

October 9, 1950 ~ July 18, 2012

Service: July 23, 2012 10:30 A.M.
   Location: Three Forks Bible Church

Our loving mother, wife, and grandmother went home with the angels after an amazingly brave battle with cancer.  Linda Dinzl was born in Miles City on October 9, 1950.  She moved with her family to Three Forks where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry Armstrong, in 1965 and raised their three boys.  Linda touched so many people in the community and was blessed with many loving friends whom she and Jerry always welcomed into their home like family.  Linda had a passion for life and was an avid painter and artist.  She was the most amazing homemaker and mother, who prided herself in her decorating, card making, and her flower gardens.  Linda loved and took care of her three boys who were her pride and joy, and all of her grandchildren who were the apples of her eye; but above all else she loved Jerry, her husband of 48 years.  Together and inseparable, you could always feel the love between them.  Linda, my loving wife, our mom, our grandma, our best friend; we will miss you more than we ever thought possible and we only find peace and comfort in knowing you will be there to meet us all when we can be together again.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Henry; mother, Marilyn; and sister, Robin.  She is survived by her soul mate, Jerry; sons, Barry (Patti), Jeff (Kathleen), and Marty (Julia); sister, Karen Bouldin; stepfather, Bud Amelsberg; and eight grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 23 at the Three Forks Bible Church.  Memorials can be made in Linda’s name to the Billings Clinic Cancer Center, PO Box 31031, Billings, MT  59107.
