Kevin Morey

August 22, 1976 ~ February 25, 2013

Kevin Sean Morey passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 in Bozeman, MT after a six year battle with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer). Kevin was born in Cooperstown, NY on August 22, 1976. Kevin graduated from Oxford Academy and Central School with the class of 1995. He then moved to Montana to attend Rocky Mountain College in Billings. Upon graduation, Kevin took a job as a craftsman at Gibson Guitar. Kevin truly loved Montana and everything outdoors, especially hiking.

Kevin is survived by his loving partner of six years, Sarah Harris of Bozeman, MT; his father, Richard Morey and step mother Barbara Morey of Utica, NY; his mother, Brenda Van Buiten of Oxford, NY; and his siblings, Roxanna Morey of Charleston, SC and Peter Van Buiten of Oxford, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bozeman Cancer Support Community at 102 S. 11th Ave. Bozeman, MT 59715 (www.cancersupportmontana.org). Kevin would like the money to be used to start more support groups for young adults.
