Margaret Edmo

December 20, 1925 ~ April 17, 2017

Service: May 06, 2017 3:00 PM
   Location: Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel

Margaret Rosalee Edmo was a sweet lady who passed away on April 16, 2017, in Belgrade, MT, at the age of 91.  She was born on December 20, 1925, in Maxim, Saskatchewan, Canada.

She came to the states with her family around the age of 16 so her half-brother, Lloyd, could claim U.S. citizenship.  He passed away about 10 years ago.

Her friends and family called her Marge.  She waitressed her way through cosmetology school and then later waitressed and tended bar—ultimately owning the Hub Bar in Belgrade.  Marge later owned and operated a mobile home park in Deer Park, WA, in her 60s where she also cared for the elderly.  Many remember her as the breakfast lady at the Super 8 Motel in Belgrade where she retired at the age of 77.

Marge is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lloyd Buell; and granddaughter, Robin Adams.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose (Tony) Adams; her grandchildren, Mark (Tamara) Adams and Tami (Matt) Wack; her great-grandchildren, Elsbeth Adams, Brianna (Mike) Wurth, Sarah (David) Nisley, Aurora (Jerriah) Putnam, Katelin (Patrick) Webb, Nathan (Katelyn) Beers, Jarod Beers, and Gabriel Beers; and her great-great-granddaughter, Aurora Rose Webb.

All who knew her marveled at her tenacity in life, the twinkle in her eyes, and her abhorrence for dandelions.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel.
