Randall L. Aanenson, 60, of Bozeman passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  He was born December 1, 1957 in Bozeman to Rolf Donovan and Janice (Anderson) Aanenson.

Randy graduated from Three Forks High School in 1976.  He then attended Helena Vo-Tech before returning to Bozeman, where he worked various jobs including as a mechanic, in purchasing, in manufacturing, as a test engineer and in engineering support. 

He was also a drummer for multiple country rock bands throughout Montana, with the highlight of his musical career playing Chico Hot Springs.  Randy also enjoyed classic cars and hot rods, puzzles, and playing billiards. 

Randy was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Rolf Donovan Aanenson; mother, Janice Anderson Aanenson Peccia; and step-father, Albert Peccia.

Survivors include Sammy, his cat; brothers, Robin J. Aanenson of Weatherford, TX and Rick Peccia of Great Falls, MT; sisters, Jolynn K. Aanenson of Chico, CA, Darcy J. Aanenson of Bozeman, Anna Lucas of Sheridan, WY, Sondra Peccia of Albany, OR, and Jewel Larsen of Missoula, MT; multiple nieces and nephews; and his aunt, Gail Aanenson of St. Paul, MN.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 24 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel.
