January 25, 2018
Debra, Ron and girls - I am thinking of you as you say your goodbyes to your amazing mother. The obituary was so well-written and truly honored her life and spirit. You will all be in my heart tomorrow. Debra, do you still have your father's blue truck? What a wonderful family you have! My best, Nancy Nancy Filbin (Bozeman, MT)

To Debbie and family. My deepest condolences for your loss. I have so many fond memories of your mom as our Campfire Girl leader. She was so generous, patient and kind. I also spent many afternoons and week-ends at your home playing after school. She was a wonderful woman who will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss. Dawn DeWolf (Eugene, OR)

To Leoti's family, Leoti was our neighbor in Helena for many years prior to her move to Bozeman. She was a warm, smart, kind, interesting woman and a great neighbor. Her garden and flowers were the envy of the neighborhood and over the years she generously shared her iris bulbs and other flowers with us. I always think of her when the beautiful irises she gave us are in bloom by our front door. Our condolences on your loss. — Pat / Bob Corry / Richards (Helena, MT)

Dear Leoti's family, I interviewed Leoti on April 28, 2015 for an historical oral history about the Reinig family and her experiences in the railroad cars after Helena High School was damaged by the 1935 earthquakes. Leoti had previously donated school materials to the Lewis and Clark Co. Historical Society, and she donated several photos and HHS memorabilia to the Lewis and Clark Co. Heritage Tourism Council, for which I am staff. I had a wonderful time interviewing Leoti. I think we spent about 3 hours looking at photos and talking, and I took some video footage of her describing photos, etc. What a kind and knowledgeable person she was. She greatly valued history and was generous enough to share her photos and memorabilia so that they could be shared with the Helena community. I treasure the time that I was able to spend with her, the recordings we made, and the letters that she sent me as follow up. You are truly fortunate to have had her as part of your family. My condolences to all of you. Pam Attardo (Helena, MT)

"Thank you seems too inadequate to express the true feelings in my heart for the way you handled the military service.  I know he would have approved of your efficient and caring manner and so do I.  Thanks again, too, for your kindness.  I shall always recommend your services to all I come in contact with."
