Scott Stacey

November 19, 1974 ~ December 19, 2017

Service: December 22, 2017 5:00 to 7:00 PM
   Location: Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel

Scott Stacey took his first ride down a hill in a little red wagon and has been looking for the next downhill run ever since.  He lived a life full of adventure and beauty that took him to mountains all over the world to climb, ski, hike and camp.  He was kind, mischievous, generous, stubborn and, above all, loving.  He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and skiing partner.  Scott’s last downhill run was December 16, 2017.  He will be dearly missed.

Scott is survived by his grandmother, Peggy Pettell; his mother, Colleen Stacey; brothers, Cory Petell and Craig Brown; and his sisters, Kristen Blue, Sarah Blue, Erin Brown, Pam Petell, Kristina Heid and Wendy McDermott.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held Friday, December 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Dokken-Nelson.

"Chris, how do I ever find the words to properly or adequately thank you for your support and kindness during a very trying time.  You are a very special young man and have a wonderful way of making a very difficult time much more easy.  It was very comforting to deal with you.  You are a natural at your position.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
